Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Mundo Marino Sailing information request form, hosted at expansion.mundomarino.es, and is independent from the general privacy policy of mundomarino.es, since the data processing carried out here serves a different purpose: managing information requests about our nautical tourism investment proposal, not excursion bookings.

Our processing complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law. Among other things, this means we clearly state the purposes for which we process your personal data, we limit collection to what is strictly necessary, we ask for your explicit consent before processing it, we take appropriate security measures to protect it, and we respect your right to access, rectify or delete your data at any time.

1. What data we collect and why

When you complete the information request form on this page, we collect the following data:

• Contact details: full name, company or organization, email address, phone number and country of residence.
• Investor profile data: profile type (private investor, family office, nautical operator, etc.), prior experience in the sector, and estimated investment amount.
• Data about your interest in the project: your preferred participation model, preferred geographic destination, and reason for your interest.
• Contact preferences: how you'd prefer us to get in touch with you, and any additional comments you'd like to share.

We use this data solely to respond to your information request, assess whether your profile fits one of the collaboration models we offer (activity license, joint venture or franchise, as applicable), and prepare a tailored proposal if you decide to move forward with the conversation.

We retain this data for as long as there is an active conversation or relationship with you regarding this proposal. If we do not reach an agreement, we retain the data for a reasonable period in case you get back in touch, and delete it once it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected for, unless the law requires us to retain it for longer.

2. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of your explicit consent, given by checking the consent box on the form itself before submitting it. You may withdraw this consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

3. Who we share your data with

Your data is sent directly to the email address of the Mundo Marino Sailing commercial team (finanzas@mundomarino.es) for internal handling. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Cookies and analytics

This page uses no cookies and loads no third-party resources: even the fonts are hosted on our own server rather than requested from external services such as Google Fonts.

We do use our own server-hosted counter, which records, in aggregate form, the number of page visits and completed forms, classified by link source. This counter does not use cookies, does not identify you as an individual, and does not record your IP address or any other personal data — only total figures per day and per source. Because of its non-personal nature, this counter does not require your consent.

We do not currently use any third-party web analytics tools. If we introduce any in the future (such as Google Analytics), which may involve cookies or the processing of personal data, we will let you know by updating this policy and, where applicable, requesting your prior consent.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access: find out what personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure: request deletion of your data once it is no longer necessary.
• Portability: receive your data in a structured format and transfer it to another controller.
• Objection: object to the processing of your data, unless there are legitimate grounds that override it.

To exercise any of these rights, please write to the contact address below, clearly identifying yourself so we can verify the request comes from the right person.

6. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), the competent supervisory authority in Spain.

7. Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy to reflect changes in how we handle your data. We recommend checking it periodically.
